What is the Instarem Amaze card and how does it work?
The Instarem Amaze card has both virtual and physical card that may be linked to up to 5 Mastercard debit or credit cards. You will no longer need to carry numerous cards and you will be able to transact with any 1 card from your smartphone at any time.
If you do not wish to link any card to Amaze, you can choose to top up your Amaze wallet with a valid credit or debit card and use the wallet to fund your Amaze transactions as a standalone card.

What are InstaPoints?
Instarem came out with their own loyalty programme where users can earn Instarem points known as ‘InstaPoints’ that accumulate in their InstaRem account over time. InstaPoints are awarded for transferring money internationally and through various other activities.
What was your experience using Instarem transfer?
We had a great experience using Instarem to pay our Bali holiday photographer of IDR 2,000,000. We made sure the beneficiary details were keyed in correctly and the transaction arrived at the beneficiary’s Indonesia bank account within 3 minutes! Exchange rates and transfer fees were extremely competitive!
What was your experience using Instarem Amaze Card?
We linked our MasterCard to double dip the rewards during our recent Bali vacation. What Amaze Card does is it will convert the IDR spent into SGD at a competitive exchange rate and bill our credit card in SGD.
In addition there was a June 2023 promotion going, we are also getting 4% rebate with minimum spend of S$10 equivalent and capped at S$5 per charge which means S$125 spend. (Potential Hack: We did not try to split up the bills into tranches of S$125 but the hotel/property/restaurant may allow you to split charge the bill into S$125 equivalent tranche so you can earn the S$5 rebate per tranche.)
Do you have other examples of using Instarem Amaze Card?
Definitely, we used our YouTrip card in our October 2023 Australia Melbourne trip. It was our go-to card where we can wave our Instarem’s Amaze card to pay virtually almost all shops that we encountered. Do take note that some merchant may charge 1.5% additional if you were to opt for card payment, we understand this is a standard practice in Melbourne from a local shopkeeper.
We also managed to pay parking easily with the Instarem’s Amaze card. We highly reccomend to consider another backup debit card for overseas usage.
