My Own Personal Experience with Trust Bank
I personally use Trust Bank in Singapore, so the information in this guide isn’t based purely on online research. I regularly check the Trust app, referral section and latest promotions myself before updating this article.
From my first hand experience, the Trust app is straightforward and easy to navigate, especially when checking my account, rewards and ongoing promotions. Trust Bank also has one of the best interest rates for savings account of up to 2%pa (in contrast: OCBC Bank’s Premier Dividend+ Savings account is up to 1.6%pa if you don’t withdraw and top up at least $3000 per month to the account.) I also like that most banking functions can be managed directly within the app without needing to visit a physical branch.
As a former banker, I tend to look beyond the headline rewards and pay particular attention to the actual promotion mechanics, eligibility requirements, fees and T&Cs. Simplicity, high interest rates and user Interface is very important to me. Customer service has been great as they get back to me quickly when one time I had issues with their referral promotion.
What I like: Up to 2%pa interest on Trust Savings Account (see my screenshots below). Simple app experience, easy access to rewards and attractive promotions such as the current promotional mechanics of up to $8000 cashback scratch card.
