My Experience Using Urban Company Singapore
I personally booked Urban Company for foam jet aircon servicing in Singapore in 2026. I paid approximately $23/unit for 4 units. Booking through the app was straightforward and the technician arrived on time with all equipment ready for servicing. While a neighborhood uncle might charge $20 or less for a basic AC servicing, UrbanCompany charges $23/unit. However, Urban Company provides a service guarantee and in-app dispute resolution, which justifies the S$3~5 premium
What I liked: Booking was hassle free and technician arrived on time. The technician used an aircon cover to clean the aircon and also kept my place clean after the servicing was done. He even gave me a after care service card (refer to the image below).
What could be better: Technician could explain further what they were doing.
Would I use Urban Company again? The answer is yes due to the fact the aircon is clean after foam jet cleaning and there is a discount for yearly servicing package.
Tips To Keep Your Aircon in Tip Top Condition
- Maintain AC temperature at 25°C for maximum power efficiency.
- Clean the aircon filters every 10 days.
- Get your aircon serviced every 3-6 months. For pet-owners, every 2-4 months is recommended.

Why do I need to clean my condenser?
Condenser cleaning is recommended when it is dusty, especially if it is situated in a dusty area (e.g. next to construction sites, major roads). This impacts the airflow that travels through the condenser which will then overheat, causing your aircon to cool slower than usual. Without periodic cleaning, the compressor will get damaged in the long run. We recommend doing this at least once a year.
Why do I need to do Gas Top Up for my AC?
Low refrigerant (gas) may indicate that the system was undercharged or has a refrigerant leak. If there is a leak, simply topping up the refrigerant may not solve the underlying issue. A qualified technician should inspect the system and identify the cause before recommending the appropriate repair.

When is a Chemical Overhaul really needed?
Chemical Overhaul is recommended when there is severe blockage, jelly or mould built up on the cooling unit. Symptoms of blockage include water leakage, lesser airflow or weird noises coming from your aircon.
This service will require the technician to dismantle the entire indoor aircon unit for an in-depth clean with strong chemicals so the stubborn dirt can be removed from the coil.
This should be done only when required, as frequent usage will reduce the lifespan of your aircon.
Where to find the photos of your aircon services?
The technician takes live photos of your aircon service at each servicing. These photos can be found on your post booking page, under “Quality Checks Completed” after your service has been completed.
