The standard processing time for account opening is 1 to 3 business days, however it may require more time for certain applications.

Notes
1. Stocks can only be transferred when names on both accounts are the same. 
2. Transfer-in fees: uSMART SG does not charge transfer-in fees but the transfer-out broker may charge. Clients need to contact the transfer-out broker to learn about the transfer-out fees before the transfer.
3. Processing time: Usually 1-3 weeks, subject to the processing time of the transfer-out broker. uSMART SG will deposit the shares to the client’s account within 1-2 working days upon receipt the shares from the transfer-out broker.
4. To transfer your shares from another broker to uSMART SG, you need to submit instructions to both receiving party (uSMART SG) and delivery party. After we receive your receiving/inbound-transfer instruction, we will contact the delivery broker to match their delivering/outbound-transfer instruction and arrange a date for delivery. 
5. Please ensure the cost price you submitted is correct as it will reflect in your P/L.

Process overview:
1. Submit share transfer in request via uSMART app.
2. Submit share transfer out request to the transfer out broker (TD Ameritrade) by emailing to funding@tdameritrade.com.sg
3. Wait patiently and you will receive notification from uSMART once the stock transfer is successful. 
 
Step-by-Step guides:
Step 1: Submit share transfer-in request via uSMART APP
1. Go to uSMART app, under “Trade”, select “Stock Deposit” (Screenshot process 1-3)
2. Enter US Market > select transfer out broker (TD Ameritrade Singapore) and Key in your TD Ameritrade account number. (Screenshot process 4-5)
3. Upload a screenshot of your TD Ameritrade’s daily or monthly statement to prove that you own the holdings and click “Next”. (Screenshot process 6,7)
4. Enter the stock information that you wish to transfer into uSMART > “stock name”, “stock quantity to transfer” and the “cost price per share” you wish to reflect in your uSMART portfolio. You may click “Add +” button to add in more stocks if you want to transfer in more than 1 counter. Once all stock information is added, click “Next”. (Screenshot process 8-12)
5. Once the details have been reviewed and confirmed, click “submit” (Screenshot 13)
6. You may provide uSMART custodian details to TD Ameritrade.
7. uSMART SG does not charge share transfer-in fee. For more information on the fees required on TD Ameritrade’s end, please check with TD Ameritrade.

Note: According to TD Ameritrade’s DTC request guide, “available shares” are fully paid securities positions. This means that: Negative balance, short positions, options, and futures are not considered as “available shares”. Only whole shares are considered as “available shares”. Fractional shares are not included. OTC stocks and PINK stocks are also not included.
